A small home designed for a garden plot in Vienna, Austria.
The rooms are small but straight to the point.
Level 00 represents the retreat level with direct access to the garden. A library and one bedroom are located in this level. The perfect location to accommodate guests.
Level 01 is the entrance level and the space for family living. The interior is extended with a spacious terrace. Round prefabricated skylights integrated in the façade are cost-efficient and same time create a special atmosphere in all interior spaces.
Level 02 is again private family area, a retreat for working as well as 2 bedrooms are located in this level.
A void in the floor slab between office space and living room creates double room height and a vista between those two levels. The suggested façade material is foil.
The architect suggests a trellis wrapping the complete building volume in order to fully integrate the home into the garden surrounding.
